We could use people to do a wide variety of jobs from serving food in our lunch program to helping students with their reading and homework. Let us know how you are interested in helping. If there is a particular skill you have that you would be willing to share with our students, please discuss it with us. In order to volunteer, you will need a completed Child Abuse Registry Check and a Criminal Records Check, and to fill out a St. Aidan’s Christian School volunteer form.
Share Our Strength, a long time supporter of St. Aidan’s Christian School, is needing volunteers to help out at the Taste of the Nation on April 22 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm or 7:30 – 9:30 pm at the Fairmont Hotel. On top of that, many of our students can not afford to pay much tuition. We rely on generous individuals to raise the extra funds we need to operate the school. Our staff also contribute by taking less salary than they would in the public system (somewhere between 70 – 80% of Winnipeg School Division). Besides monetary donations, we could also use the following items: Computers, Art Supplies, Musical instruments (i.e. guitars, drums) and Games.
